How Ortho Tri-Cyclen is usually taken
Take this medication as your physician prescribed. Begin taking on a Sunday (unless prescribed otherwise) and take one pill per day with a full glass of water no more than 24 hours apart. Make an effort to take it the same time of the day in order for your body to become used to the regularity. There are 21-day and 28-day cycles so follow the instructions for which one you are prescribed to. If taken in the evening it can prevent headaches and nausea.
