Diflucan is an antifungal to treat vaginal yeast infections.

How Diflucan is usually taken
Take this medication as your physician prescribed. Take once a day orally at the same time each day. Continue to take Diflucan medication until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the medication too early may allow the yeast to continue to grow resulting in a relapse of the infection.

Some possible side effects include: nausea, abdominal pain, or headache. Contact your physician if any side effects persist.
