Allegra allergy medication contains an antihistamine and decongestant used to relieve allergy symptoms such as itchy, red eyes, stuffy nose and throat irritation.

How Allegra-D is usually taken
Take this medication as your physician prescribed. Allegra-D is usually taken twice a day, in the morning and the evening. Take each dose with a full glass of water and on an empty stomach, 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets.

Potential Side Effects of Allegra-D
Nausea, stomach upset, sleeplessness, headaches, or cold symptoms may occur. If these side effects persist contact your physician.
